Being operated with the diesel in Bonneville in Utah in USA on 23rd of August 2006 and being created with the JCB-branded engine that is used by JCB in its own engines, the vehicle named JCB Dieselmax has broken the world in this field by reaching a speed of 563,418 km per hour.
The spokesman of the team that carried out the experiment stated that the two-engine automobile named JCB Diesel Max has broken the world record in diesel cars category in International Automobile Federation by reaching a speed of 563,418 km.
It was recorded that the automobile, which was in the form of a giant cigar, was driven by English Andy Green who is among the pilots in British Royal Air Forces. The previous record in this field was broken with a speed of 377 kilometers per hour in 1973. |
